Established over 40 years ago, Steedform is proudly a South Australian-owned and family operated business. We focus on providing the highest quality stone and stone-product benchtops, work surfaces, countertops and panels for residential and commercial clients who expect meticulous workmanship, value for money and outstanding service.
First established in 1977 in a suburban Adelaide workshop by Neil Rasheed and Peter Staples, Steedform has grown out of a commitment to providing South Australia’s finest quality benchtops and surfaces for both home and commercial applications including retail, hospitality, tourism and entertainment venues.
As the business grew over the years, we also set about addressing the growing trends towards laminate and timber surfaces – providing solutions for some of the state’s most celebrated interiors.
In 2006, the growing demand for high-quality, locally made stone and stone-based surfaces emerged and, true to our progressive nature, in order to meet the needs of the market, instead of reducing our footprint in the business of benchtops and surfaces for residential homes and commercial businesses, we decided to increase our capacity and respond to the growing demand for high-end stone surfaces.
Today, we proudly concentrate on capturing the beauty, durability and timelessness of traditional and engineered stone and supplying well-established and innovative, next-generation materials including ceramics to market.
Our commitment to quality, value and service remains as steadfast today as it was when Neil Rasheed proudly hand-crafted his very first piece for his very first customer in 1977.
